The Mirror Test

My child,  what do you see when you look in the mirror?  Do you see yourself as I see you, or do you see what you want to see?   If you do not see yourself as I do, then it is time to change mirrors.   I am your mirror.  Do not measure yourself by the worlds standards but by Me.   I came and showed you the way in which to behave and walk. 

What do you do with the words I give you in your Bible?  Do you honor them and walk as I walked, or do you close the book and not give them another thought as you go about your day?  The time for sitting on the fence is over.  You must choose this day whom you are going to serve, Me, or the father of lies.  There is no two ways about it.

I have provided you all that you need for this hour to walk in peace, while others around you fall.  You must live out My word and not just read it for the sake of reading.  Did I not say that many will cry "Lord, Lord we did or that in your name" and I will say to them "I never knew you".   Just because you use My name, does not make you my child.   Many abuse My name to serve themselves.  Be careful.  Do not be deceived.  Write My words on your heart, take them with you everywhere you go.  Live My word!

The time is coming when you will need My word to navigate.  Everything will be chaos on the earth.  All you see and hear will deceptions.  You will need discernment and My guidance to get you through the darkness.  Clear the clutter from your lives so that you may hear Me speak to you.  Clean yourselves.  Make yourselves pure.  Walk in holiness and righteousness.  Allow Me access to your heart.  I call to those who resist Me to lay down their desires and allow Me full access to their hearts.  Make your choice, make it wisely for I Am coming!


1 Cor 13:12  For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

Matt 4:4  But He answered and said "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD'".

Matt 7:21-23  "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.  Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'  And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS'.

1 Peter 1:15-16  but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;  because it is written 'YOU SHALL BE HOLY; FOR I AM HOLY."

The Opening Curtain of the Final Act

Now is the time for action, Beloveds.  Rise up, take up your weapons.  Fight the enemy of your souls.  I have given you all that you need to tear down the strongholds in your life.  Take up your weapons and do not fear, for I have gone before you and prepared a way for you in which to walk.

The time is near for My return.  Do not give up now.  Keep your focus on Me.  Allow Me to guide you.  Listen for My voice to lead you through the darkness, for I will not fail you.

Do not be scared, little ones.  Much is taking place behind the scenes to set the stage for the final show down.  It will happen just as I planned.

Fear not!  Victory is already yours.  I have set the days and seasons, according to My will.  Be watchful and do not allow the enemy to lull you back to sleep.  Fight him with all your strength.  He seeks to devour you, but he will not be able to harm you.  For you are covered in blood of My son, Yeshua.

The time is VERY near.  Come to Me; repent of all the evil in your life.  Be washed in the Blood of the Lamb.  Let me clean your heart and prepare you for My kingdom.  Allow Me to transform your life from despair to joy, from darkness to light.  You will not be disappointed.  My plans for you are great indeed.

Stay close to Me now.  Time is closing and the final act is about to begin.

Eph 6:13  Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

Psalm 25:5  Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation.

Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Be Doers of My Word and Not Sitters Upon It

My children, why do you honor Me with your lips but not in all that you do?  Have I not said in My word that you were created in My image?  Then why do you serve Me with your mouth, but serve your flesh as well?  My children, this can not be!

Turn to Me now, give up your fleshly desires, and desire Me.  Have I not given you My all?  Have I not sacrificed Myself to the point of giving up My life for you?  Then why do you play games with My word?  My word is Holy, My word is truth, My word will guide you; if you would only study it and write it on your hearts.

How can I impart all good things on you if you will not follow Me?  Do you expect Me to look the other way when you sin?  Do you think it does not hurt Me to see you in this deplorable state?

I tell you now, turn back from your sin.  Do it now before the time runs out for you.  Much is at stake.  You will not survive what is coming apart from Me.  Come to Me now and be saved.  Let Me take you in My arms as a father to his child.  Embrace Me and I shall never depart from you.  I love you!

Isaiah 29:13-14  Then the Lord said, “Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote, therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish.  And the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.”

1 Peter 2:24  and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

Deut 11:18  You shall therefore impress these words of Mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.

Psalm 91:4  He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge;  His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.

                                                                                                  

True Abundance

Have I not said in My word that I have come that you may have life abundantly?  Yet, many of you are crying, “But Lord, I do not have abundance. My house is not big enough, my car is no longer new and my clothes are worn and tattered”.  I tell you the truth, My measurement of abundance is not the same as yours.  My way is absolute. 

You see only with your natural eyes.  I tell you, open your spiritual eyes and truly see!  Do you not have Me when you cry out in need?  Do I not answer your call when you kneel in prayer?  Am I not with you now, in your midst, guiding and leading my sheep?  I tell you that you DO have abundance.

Think not on things of this world but on the things from above.  For much I have planned for you.  Much is in store for your great pleasure.  Do not look around you and compare yourselves to others, for you will never be satisfied in the natural world.  Look instead to Me and things of My kingdom, for it is very near now, dear children.

Time is not lost on Me; for I know very well what I am doing.  I know the plans I have for you.  Do not worry about your house, your car, your clothes; those things are carnal, and will soon pass away.  Receive your abundance in My word, it is your manna; it will guide you and protect you.  Yes children, abide in Me and My true love and you shall see your abundance!

John 10:10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

John 10:11  I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

Col 3:2  Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

Walk In My Ways And My Power

Blessed are those who seek my face and never turn away; for I alone am God, Jehovah; and I am the giver of all gifts and things of the spirit.

Seek Me first above all things, and I will impart on you all your heart’s desires.

I see you when you bow before me, I hear your prayers that you set before my ears, I know you and love you with an everlasting love – a love that never fades or falls away.

Remain in Me and I will remain in you – ALWAYS. 

Do not be discouraged or dismayed by what you see around you, for I am the God of the universe, and I hold all things in the palm of My hand.

I have power over the enemy of your soul.  He holds no sway over you.  Rebuke him and he will run from you.  I have bestowed all power upon you to defeat him.  Walk in My ways and My power.  Take back what is yours. 

Matt 6:33  But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

2 Chron 7:14  and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek MY face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

1 Cor 12:6-7  There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.  But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

Deut 31:8  The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you.  He will not fail you or forsake you.  Do not fear or be dismayed.

James 4:7-8  Submit therefore to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Go Forth With My Light

I am doing a great work in you, beloveds.  Do not struggle against Me.  Every trial you have gone through was to mold and shape you into the person you are today.  Though the trials of your life seemed so ugly at the time, it was necessary for you to experience them so that you could emerge the beautiful creation you are now.

I did this to prepare you for My kingdom.  My Son shall have a bride without spot or wrinkle or blemish.  Many of you are still masquerading as Children of the light, when indeed there is much darkness in your heart.  This can not be, My beloveds.  You must repent of your evil ways.  You must forgive those who have wounded you deeply.  Have I not forgiven you, your transgressions against Me?

The time is coming for the bride to present herself.  Will you be ready?  Will you stand the test?  Does your light shine to all the world as I have commanded?  You are to be salt and light to the world.  You are My voice on the earth.  You are My hands and feet, bringing good news to those who need to hear.  How can you be a witness to those around you if you are living in sin?  Hypocrites!  First repent of your sins, then go forth with My word to bring in My lost sheep. 

Daylight is waning and the night approaches.  It is time for My sheep to come home. 

Psalm 66:10  For you have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined.

Job 23:10  “But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold”.

Matt 5:48  Therefore you are to be perfect because your heavenly Father is perfect.

Eph 1:4  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.

Matt 7:5  You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Isaiah 43:25  “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins”.

Matt 6:14-15  For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

Isaiah 52:7  How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Matt 5:16  Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Come Now Into My Kingdom

My children, You do not hear Me because you are not listening.  I call to you but there is no answer.  I have much to tell you.  Calm your spirit and draw close to Me.

I desire to communicate with My beloveds, but you are keeping yourselves busy with distractions of this world.  If only you would come and sit with Me.

Much is coming that you know nothing about.  You do not hear, therefore, you can not prepare.

I wish to impart on you the gifts of My Holy Spirit, which you will need if you are to survive My coming judgment upon this nation.

Draw close to Me, My children.  Leave behind the cares of the world and invest in Me and the things of My kingdom.

If you will turn your hearts to Me and seek My will for your lives, I will answer you from on high, for I AM your God, your Creator, the Lover of your souls.

I have the keys to overcome; I freely give to those who seek My face.  Nothing will I hold back from them.  I impart every good thing on them that will follow My lead.

Come to Me.  The time is short; you MUST come now.  The enemy has much prepared for those I call My own, and they will be taken in the wrath that he has for My people, if they do not lay down their sin and come to Me now.  Time for foolishness is over.  The age of Grace is closing, and I desire that ALL My children come into My kingdom.  Do not sit on the fence, wavering in your faith. 

The Wedding Feast is set, the angels are ready to receive those who have responded to My call.  My Son awaits His bride with eager anticipation.  Will you come into My kingdom? Will you answer My call?

Job 33:14  Indeed God speaks once, or twice, yet no one notices it.

Luke 17:26-27  And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:  they were eating, the were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Luke 12:34  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

2 Peter 3:12  “FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE TOWARD THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ATTEND TO THEIR PRAYER, BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THOSE WHO DO EVIL”.

Matt 16:19  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.

Psalm 27:8  When you said “Seek My face”, my heart said to You, “Your face, O Lord, I shall seek”.

James 1:17  Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

1 Peter 5:8  Be of sober spirit, be on alert.  Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Trust In Me Alone

I was talking to the Lord about a dream I had the night before, in which my friend had rejected me and began to mock and humiliate me.  I turned to a family member for comfort and was again rejected.

Matt 10:36  And A MAN’S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS OWN HOUSEHOLD.

God spoke these words:

In these ever darkening days, friends indeed will fail you.  They won’t understand what I am doing on the earth, or the purpose of My judgments.  As days grow darker, mens' hearts will grow colder.  You must stay in My love where I will impart on you My perfect peace.  Only in Me will you find comfort, and strength to overcome the enemy of your soul.  He seeks to destroy you by any means possible.  Fear not, for I have overcome him, when I rose from the grave, and I will do it again!  Stay close to Me and you will lack nothing – not even peace will elude you. 

Luke 12:53  They will be divided, father against son, and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.

Matt 24:12  Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.

Eph 6:12  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Rom 5:1  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 24:6-7  He is not here but, He has risen.  Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered unto the hands of sinful men, and crucified, and on the third day rise again.

James 1:4  And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

I AM WHO I AM

Patience My child, be still now and know that I AM your God.  I have much in store for you, and for My people.  My feast is indeed ready for those who love Me.  It is ready and I am at the door.

Keep your heart pure and clean from adultery.  Have no other God but Me, for I am a jealous God for the hearts and souls of my children.

Look to Me always, for I have great plans for you.  Keep your eyes fixed on Me and you will see Me coming in clouds of glory.

The time is near.  All has been prepared for this hour.  Do not fret about my return.  I will come in my due time.  I tell you that you will not taste My wrath that is reserved for the unrepentant Earth.  Have I not said in My Holy word that you were not appointed to wrath but that I have come so that you shall have life abundantly?

Hold true to My words; let them permeate your soul, your very core.  Hold fast and stand your ground.  Lift high your head and rejoice, for I will be with you soon, My people.

I AM coming very soon!  Be ready for My call.  Purify yourselves.  Wash your selves in the Blood of the Lamb.  Confess your sins and turn your hearts to Me.  I am a God who longs to forgive those who are willing to allow Me to heal their hearts and cleanse their lives. 

There is not much time left.  Come now, My people.  Do not allow the enemy to lull you to sleep.  Be awake and alive!  Watch!  For the hour is nigh in which you will see Me.  I come with My saints and angels to gather you unto Myself.  I will take My bride from the Earth.  She will dine with Me at the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, which was prepared for her.

Keep yourselves pure of any idols, and pornography, and things that pollute your soul.

Keep your eyes fixed on Me and I will strengthen you against your enemy.  He seeks to devour you.  He roams the Earth like a roaring lion, looking for prey.  But I tell you, Stay close to Me; for only in Me will you find the strength to overcome your adversary; only in Me will you find peace, only in Me is salvation.

Ready yourselves, children, for I come like a thief in the night.

Don’t be caught naked without your clothes.  Clothe yourselves in Me!  I delight in each heart that walks in My ways.  I see and know all about My beloveds.  Don’t think you can hide anything from Me.  Turn to Me now.  Lay aside your sin and drink of Me.  Take My life giving water, which I give freely to each of you who ask. 

Be alert, be watching.  Do not sleep.  I come quickly, AMEN, I say, I come quickly.  I AM WHO I AM.

John 14:2-3  “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.  If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also”.

Deut 4:24  For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

1 Thes 5:21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil.

John 14:6  “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me”.

Exodus 3:14  God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM; and thus you shall say to the sons of Israel I AM has sent me to you”.

Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else: for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

1 Thes 5:2  For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.

Rev 3:3  “So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent.  Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you”.

Hear My Love Song

I call to you like a lover in the night.  I serenade you with My song of sweet joy.  Open the window of your heart to Me, My beloved.  Allow My soft words of love to surround you in eternal peace.

See the light that I shine for you in the darkness; that you may see and not be afraid?  I go forth with My light to show you the way. 

Come away with Me, My bride to our bridal chambers, and allow Me to shower you with My gift of love.  I will whisper My sweet words to you. 

I have already prepared a home for you, where we will enjoy each others’ embrace for all time to come. 

I am Yeshua, the lover of your soul.  Will thou come with Me?

The Bridegroom Cometh

Tell my people that I love them.  I desire to be with them.  I desire that they would turn away from their sins and come to Me, the Living God.  I gave My life for them.  Do you think it was an easy task for Me to die on a cross because I am the Living God?  I say to you “NO!”.  It hurt Me deeply, but I saw the future then, and I see My plans for you now, each and everyone.  I reveal My plans to you as you submit yourselves to My will.

Do not be afraid to come to me.  I have the power to forgive even your darkest secret.  I tell you no sin is too great or beyond My power to forgive.

I see your hurts.  I know your concerns.  I am aware of the circumstances that surround you.  I desire that you would bring them to Me, so that I can heal you of your pain, your suffering, and anxiety.

Many of your turn Me aside and dismiss my gentle touch on your lives.  You think that I am a cruel and unloving God; this is because of what you see around you in the natural world.  You see much anger and chaos among you.  There is bloodshed in your streets.  Why have you not brought your deepest concerns to Me – The one who has the power to heal and restore?

I tell you, these things that you see around you are not of Me.  They are the result of a fallen world.  Man seeks to exalt himself, thinking himself above all, and the result is what is taking place now on the earth.  I am not a God of chaos but of order.  I am not a God who tolerates wickedness in any of my children, yet you choose the darkness over the light.  You seek out familiar spirits that lie to you, telling you that you yourselves can be gods.  I tell you the truth, that there is only ONE God and ONE savior, Jesus Christ.

Satan comes with all lying wonders to amuse and distract you from the Living God.  He comes to devour as a lion, seeking to destroy your homes, your relationships, your lives.  I tell you to close the door to him.  Resist him with all that is in you and call on the name of Jesus Christ to save you.  Satan will flee!  He shrinks at the name above all names…Jesus the Christ.  I tell you that even the demons shutter and fear at My most Holy name. 

Come to Me now.  I desire to come in and dine with you at the table.  I seek a relationship with my children.  I desire that they would know Me.  I am not far from you.  I do not hide Myself from you.  Just look around you at all there is.  See the mountains and rivers and valleys.  Look at My rainbow in the sky and marvel at the works of your mighty God.  I reveal Myself to those who are seeking Me with a pure heart.

Come to Me all you who are weary and receive rest.  Yes, rest in me.  Take refuge in my protection.  I am your strong tower.  I am your protector from the storm.  No hand formed against you will prosper.  Remain in my love and I will reveal great things to you.  I will speak to you of My mysteries.  I will speak to your heart, and I will woo you.  Come to Me says your Bridegroom.  Come into the bridal chamber where I can keep you safe from the wrath that is soon to come.  Come!  I say to you, dine with me at my table, for a great feast is now prepared.  It is prepared for those who love Me and have laid down their own lives to serve the Living God.  Lay down your sin, your lusts, your pride.  Expel those things that do you no good but only drag you down to the depths of Sheol.

Amen, I am coming quickly and I bring My rewards for those who have washed themselves clean in the Blood of the Lamb.  Do not be caught off guard, come now while there is still a little time left.  For once the door is closed, it will not open again.  Do not be among those who have hardened their hearts against Me, and resisted my yoke of gentleness.  I am a gentle God, and never force Myself on anyone.  The choice is yours to make.  Will you be with me in Paradise or will you be left behind with the heathen?

Jeremiah 31:3  The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting Love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness”.

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life”.

Acts 3:19  Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

Psalm 55:22  Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

Matt 11:28  “Come to Me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest”.

James 2:19  You believe that God is one.  You do well.  The demons also believe and shudder.

James 4:7  Submit therefore to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

1 Thes 5:9  For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev 22:12  “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done”.

Rev 22:14  Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.

Discipline, The Best Medicine

Discipline yourselves, Children.  For it is in your discipline and submission to Me that you will find what you need that you have been lacking.  You have been asking Me for strength and courage.  I tell you that you will have it as you spend time with Me and in My word.  Some of you have been asking for love; that also is in the scriptures and in the fruit of the spirit as you walk out your faith and demonstrate My love to My people.

I will impart on you all that you need for this hour, this day, this season.  Keep yourselves in My perfect will for your lives and I will protect you from all that is about to be released upon the earth.  For you know not of the things that are coming.  I will be with you and carry you through the storm to safety; safety in Me.  Those who know Me not will be swept away with the great tide. 

Stay in my perfect love, and you shall have peace; peace that the world knows not of.   I will not leave you orphaned or abandoned, for that is against all that I am.  I am the LORD, the protector of your soul.  I love you with an everlasting love; a love that never fails to fulfill its purpose in this life. I have formed you and created you for this hour.  Now rise up and receive your reward.  I come quickly for those who have made themselves ready by washing their clothes in the blood of the Lamb.  Speak to my people, I come quickly!!!!!!!

Hebrews 12:8  But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

1 John 5:2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.

1 John 4:18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

Isaiah 60:2 For behold, darkness will cover the earth; and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.

John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

Rev 22:12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.”

Rev 22:20 He who testifies to these things says “Yes, I am coming quickly.”

A Study on Faith and Asking with Confidence

As a teenager I used to go to the mall on weekends.  I would wash up, get dressed in my favorite jeans, and the very last thing I would do is ask my parents for some money.

I asked for money (in faith) that they would give me what I was asking for.   I asked with the knowledge that I would receive.

What made me so sure that time after time the answer would be the same?  What if they decided that I didn’t need money to go to the mall, or that they had dished out enough already and I could go without this time?

I knew that they would never do that because of their love for me, their child, and this I was sure of; just as we can be sure of God’s love for us.  In Romans 8:38 it says “For I am convinced that neither earth, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”   So now we know with confidence that God loves us, just as I was assured that my parents loved me enough to provide for my needs.

I also spent enough time with my parents, learning about them, so I knew how they would react to such a request. 

Shouldn’t we approach the throne of Grace with the same confidence that we apply to others?  Why then, don’t we just confidently state our request before our Father and relax in the knowledge that is shall be done for us?  Instead, we sheepishly approach God, make our request, then hold our breath and cross our fingers, in hopes that He will do it for us.  What kind of faith is this?  Can we even call it faith?

We ask with timidity because we don’t spend enough time with Him, in His word, getting to know Him and how He handles situations.  Doesn’t His word say in Matt 7:7 ”Ask and it shall be given to you”?   He said SHALL be given, not maybe you’ll receive if I feel like it.   “SHALL” is our assurance that if we ask (in accordance with His will) then He will hear our petitions and honor our request.    

Does that mean if you ask for the winning lottery numbers, you will receive them?  NO!  How do I know?  The Bible says in 1Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil”. That’s pretty clear.  We can safely assume that He’s not going whisper the winning numbers in our ears as we sleep because He knows that we will eventually end up relying on our money to provide for us and not our Creator.  The second half of 1 Timothy 6:10 reads like this “…and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs”.   We know that He seeks a relationship with us, so He would never allow something that would only turn us away from Him.

Knowing God’s will for us is not difficult.  It takes a bit of determination and commitment on our part though, just as learning to ride a bike takes determination and a commitment to stick with it.  God hides nothing from us that can help us.  It’s all in His word, but we must choose to read His word if we want to know Him, so that we can approach Him, not with a spirit of timidity but boldness, in the knowledge that what we are asking for is indeed His will and it SHALL be done for us, just as He says.

We are all given choices to make.  Every day we are faced with millions of choices, whether we realize it or not.  We choose if we are going to get out of bed in the morning.  We choose what we are going to wear and eat, and drink.  We choose what activities we are going to do, and we even choose how we react to certain situations.  We may choose so fast that is seems like the choice was not ours to make, but I promise you, we chose it!

So with all those choices, why do we not choose to spend time with our creator, the Living God?  After all, He made some choices on our behalf.  He chose to bring us to life.  He chose our parents and our circumstances that brought us to Him.  Why not consider choosing God when we have a moment of free time?  Instead of watching t.v. or going on the internet, or reading that novel that we’ve been wanting to finish, why not read God’s word and get to know Him and how He operates in our lives?  That way, when we ask of Him we can approach Him with bold confidence that we are asking in accordance with His will, and we shall indeed receive.

Therefore, let us approach our Father with confidence and thank Him for hearing our petitions and sending His answer Henceforth, just as Jesus did when calling Lazarus out of the grave, when he said in John 11:41 “…Father, I thank You that You have heard Me”.  Jesus had the full assurance that His Father in Heaven heard His petition, and it was going to be done for Him.

“Ask, and it will be give to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened”.

* Note that He says everyone who asks, receives, not just some of us.  He’s not talking here about the “goodie goodies” who are the teacher’s pet.  His word is truth for EVERYONE and that means you and me!

Mark 11:24

“Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you”.

Hebrews 4:16  "Let us then approach the Throne of Grace with confidence to receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need". (NIV)

Do Not Doubt My Promises

See to it children, that when you pray, asking for something in My name, you do not doubt.  For doubt will rob you of My promises.  Stand firm on My word.  If I have given you a task and it feels strange to you, do not worry, for I am with you in the midst of it.  I would not send you out to the wolves unprepared and unarmed.  You may feel alone in this thing I am asking of you, but fear not; the great and mighty Jehovah will prepare the way for you to walk in My power and strength.

Often I ask of you for the betterment of the other, but sometimes I ask things of you to strengthen your own faith.  When you doubt My words, you doubt My power to fulfill my promises to you.  Do not squelch My spirit.  It grieves Me when my children do not believe in faith, but allow the sin of doubt to control their minds.  Does My Holy Word not say, “Ask and you shall receive”?  Why then, do you doubt and belittle My word?

Be strong My children.  The time is near when the darkness will be so thick that you will not be able to find your way.  That is where your faith comes into play.  Those who trust Me completely to guide them will find their way.  Only by faith in My word will you be saved.  I must have your complete trust.  Do not toy with your faith, your efforts will fail.  Total trust is required for Me to guide you in the days ahead. 

Do not fear.   My words should serve as a warning and are not intended to instill fear in the hearts of My children.  I warn as a loving Father who sees the danger ahead.  I know what is required for your safe passage, and I impart those words on you now.  Take heed of My words.  Hear the warning bell.  The day is almost over and it is time for you to come in from the encroaching darkness. I gather you to Myself.  Let Me guide you.  Do not pull against My gentle leading.  Do not fear, and do not doubt, and ALL that I have promised you will soon come to pass.
